Saber (Cабля) is a 
Eastern Coalition medium fighter in Starlancer.
Overview[ | ]
The workhorse of the Coalition fleets, the Saber is a robust two-seater with a rugged design optimized for mass production and some surprisingly powerful weapons paired with a strong shield generator (second only to the Basilisk). Unfortunately, the inexpensive nature shows in the armor rating: It's among the lightest of the medium fighters.
Strategy[ | ]
- The Saber is well armed, but has below-average agility but good speed and excellent shields. It can be reasonably destroyed with any fighter and blind fire is usually a bit of an overkill. However, Sabers come in packs, so don't underestimate it.
